This shows the kind of sediment and what appears to be a piece of plastic or teflon tape maybe which came in through my city supply. The filter has only been installed for 2 days. Thought I would get a good shot of the water flowing through it as I was flushing out my water heater. Also took a peek in the new Whirlpool (Ecodyne) water softener.
