Several years ago I moved into a new house in a rural area that has not been delivered by the next municipal water system removed. My source of fresh water is an artesian well. The water is of excellent quality, but it is very hard water. I did not understand the term "hard water" for several years, but finally they are grappling with issues associated with hard water.
